Throughout the house you will sense the blending of these two lives.
Bette and Jim do most of the preparation for the meal and at various times have excellent help.
The upstairs
has the four poster bed that has a trundle bed that slips under it. In the attic (south) there are hats still worn weekly
and memorabilia that gradually finds a home there. The north attic will be devoted to Christmas items.
Jim has
enclosed the garage which will become the gathering room and house the grand piano and the larger sound system. The doors
are leaded glass panels from the First Baptist Church of Ripley, TN. Bette's parents bought these when the old building was
being replaced. | The smokehouse in the backyard
houses a pie safe and canning equipment plus Jim's loading supplies for firearms and lots of little antique things.
Jim's workshop is never going to be decorated, IT IS HIS !!!
The garden on the south side of the workshop is
always a work in progress. The bible walk is partially laid and soon will be finished.
Please pray for the transition
and that this location will prove to be a blessing to all who visit.
It is a blessing to those who live here. |

Lovingly, Jim & Bette Gibson
